An intense and bizarre representation of a woman in front of her mirror. In this portrait Cesare Catania captures the protagonist during one of the most natural and common, yet most difficult moments of the day.
Looking at yourself in the mirror: everything is very simple …. but at the same time very complex.
She is beautiful and naked, with her breasts highlighted on the bottom right, she takes the mirror and observes herself.
A mirror always reflects what stands in front of it. Often, however, it shows only what the person wants to see…
