The theme of music is again addressed in this oil painting by Cesare Catania, which portrays a singer with an impetuous voice in a gospel exhibition. The arrangement flutters in the upper left, saxophones accompany the sound on the left in the background and the hands of the public load the scene on the lower part of the painting. The oil colors are used on the canvas using the brush like a spatula, literally staining colored pigments that light up the observer’s eyes.
